For our final initiative, we will be working with Pages for Pediatrics (PFP) at the University of Michigan, an affiliate of the California-registered 501(c)3 nonprofit.

PFP @ UMich is dedicated to alleviating the stress and fear pediatric patients face when diagnosed with a health condition. To do so, they write and design original storybooks that are centered around "characters and narratives that pediatric patients can relate to as a means of instilling hope, comfort, and solidarity in our readers."

We chose PFP @ UMich as our partner for our last initiative because they advocate for the youngest members of our communities - a group that often doesn't get a platform or the tools to speak up for themselves. Children represent the hope and future of our society, and it's so important to show them that they have the support and understanding that they so deeply deserve.

The money raised from this fundraiser will go towards publishing and distributing a storybook for young children who have Alopecia or other conditions that cause them to lose their hair. PFP never charges families or hospitals for these books, and relies upon grants and donations from kind souls like you.
